Flying Exposure Programme
(6 years and up)

Our carefully crafted Young Aviators’ flying exposure programme offers an exhilarating journey into the world of aviation through two captivating experiences: Simulator Flight Experience and Build-A-Drone courses.

We take young minds soaring to new heights with our cutting-edge flight simulator experience, allowing children to imagine themselves as daring aviators navigating the skies.

Moreover, we also offer comprehensive build-a-drone courses, nurturing an early interest in technology and aviation, and providing a safe space for young learners to spread their wings in the world of robotics.

Why Choose Us?

At the Little Rangers Club, safety, education, and fun are our top priorities. Our experienced instructors ensure that each child receives personalized attention, fostering a supportive environment for learning and exploration. Whether they’re soaring through virtual skies or building and racing drones, your child will develop skills that extend far beyond aviation, including critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Why Choose a Flight Simulator Experience for Kids?

Our kids flight simulator programme is designed to:
- Develop focus, discipline and problem-solving skills
- Introduce STEM concepts through hands-on learning
- Build confidence through guided challenges
- Encourage real-world decision making in a safe environment

Unlike gaming, this is a structured learning experience, not passive screen time.

Let your child's dreams of being a pilot soar as they step into the cockpit of our cutting-edge flight simulator. Guided by expert instructors, they'll navigate virtual skies, learning the fundamentals of flight, honing their piloting skills, and experiencing the thrill of takeoffs and landings.

Our flight simulators are programmed to be actual replicas of a Cessna 172, which is the most common and readily accessible training aircraft, with the ability to take off and fly from any airport around the world.

Every flight gives you the opportunity to learn different skills and techniques, while working through variations in weather and flying environment. As such, we have a progressive learning checklist in place where individuals are required to fulfil with our instructors signing off.

Build-A-Drone Courses

Ignite your child's curiosity in technology and engineering with our Build-A-Drone courses. Through hands-on workshops, they'll learn to assemble their very own drone from the ground up, gaining insights into mechanics, electronics, and aerodynamics. As their drone takes shape, so does their confidence in mastering complex tasks.

Basic Build & Fly (1.5hrs): This is our Basic Starter course where you’ll learn how to build a basic drone model, then learn how to fly it through our obstacle course.

Advance Build & Fly (1.5hrs): In our Advance Build course, you will learn how to customise and design your own drone, then put it to the test through our obstacle course.

Drone Fly Sessions (Blocks of 30mins): Free & Easy fly time through our obstacle course. A Hall-of-Fame board sits proudly in our flight zone and individuals can compete to be the Top Pilot by flying through our obstacle course in the shortest time! Attractive prizes are awarded to the Number ONE pilot every quarter!

Our drones are easy to build and fly, with no complicated parts. This allows kids to experiment and unleash their creativity. If it crashes, all you’ll need to do is snap the pieces back together again!

Designing, building, and racing drones through our obstacle course is a hands-on and exciting activity that can help children develop a wide range of skills such as:

Engineering and Design Thinking - Designing a drone involves understanding the principles of aerodynamics, weight distribution, and balance. Children learn to think critically and creatively while designing a functional and efficient drone.

Problem-Solving - Assembling and troubleshooting a drone involves identifying and addressing technical issues. Children develop problem-solving skills as they work to ensure the drone's proper functionality.

Fine Motor Skills - Building a drone requires handling small components. Children refine their fine motor skills and dexterity through assembling and connecting parts.

Teamwork and Collaboration - Building and racing drones often involves teamwork, encouraging children to collaborate, delegate tasks, and communicate effectively with their friends.

Attention to Detail - Precision is key in building a drone that functions properly. Children learn to pay attention to details and follow instructions accurately.

Electronics Basics - Drones often include electronic components like motors, batteries, and controllers. Children gain a basic understanding of electronics and circuitry as they connect and configure these parts.

Risk Management - Navigating obstacles during a race involves assessing risks and making decisions to avoid crashes. Children learn to manage risks and make calculated choices.

Resilience and Perseverance - Overcoming challenges and setbacks while building and racing a drone fosters resilience and the willingness to persevere in the face of difficulties.

Sportsmanship - Racing against friends encourages good sportsmanship, teaching children how to compete fairly, celebrate successes, and handle losses graciously.

Creativity and Innovation - In our advance course, children can customize their drones, encouraging creativity and innovation in their designs and strategies.
